New Perspectives on Mental Health
He's only been on the planet since 1943, but Steve McDaniel has been around the block a few times.
Earning badges of honor in the sense of healed surgeries, recovered
illness, including necrotizing fasciitis — but with a
medical discharge from the Army in 1964 for acute asthma so he never went to
Vietnam.
Now, Steve and Kristyne are building up a
new project promoting the development of a
joyful life, within our Shamrock Trails
Ranch facility that opens in the summer of 2007. We hope you'll join us here
and come back often as we put more meat on the bones of this web site and our
Emryld Life project.
He Has Shown Thee, O Man...
This is the beginning of one of the "forgotten" verses in the old testament
-- Micah 6:8. He has shown thee, O Man, what is good. What does the Lord require
of thee? But to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
Yes, these are hard things to do. But they are goals, not commandments. Let's
get about the work of living life and living it well. Let's live in a way that
brings joy not only to ourselves but to everyone around us. That's what Jesus
meant when he told us to love one another -- or at least that's what we think he
meant.
No, this isn't a religious site per se. But Steve and Kristyne are spiritual
people that take the teachings in the Bible to heart. Other teachings can be
found on our McTeach site.
